Outsiders Projects, 7th grade due Feb 13th!

1.      Create a play about the trial of Johnny for the murder of Bob.
Perform it for the class.  (three people)

2.      Write a chapter of the book from another character’s perspective.

3.      Make a puppet show of one part of the story.  The script must be
2-4 pages (double spaced)

4.      Write an opinion paper about what parts of the book you would
change and why. 3-4 pages typed, double spaced.

5.      Write a magazine article by one of the characters. Title the article “Being a
Teenager.” Paste your article into an actual magazine; make it look like a
magazine article.

6.       Create 4 cut-up puzzles of  scenes from the book. On the back of
each puzzle piece
completely describe the scene.

7.      Write a Eulogy for one of the characters from the novel.  It must
be written in the style of a eulogy.  One page, single spaced.

8.       Create a board game using details and characters from the story. MINIMUM 50
cards w/questions and answers.

9.      Create a video based on the book and show it to the class. Get
approval from me
for the subject.

10.     Write about how you have changed as a result of reading this novel
or what you
have learned.
